"No returns as promised"

Been there a couple of weeks ago and bought a pullover as a surprise for my husband. I was not sure if I should go for it as 70 pounds is quite much and I was afraid the pullover would not fit well.

But the guy in the shop promised I could return it even after Christmas. so I made a mistake and purchased the pullover.

Unfortunately it doesn't fit as it should. So I wanted to return it, but now the guy is telling me only exchanges would be accepted. He said he never promised i could return the pullover. But as nothing else in this shop is as per our taste we had to stick with a 70 pounds pullover which doesn't fit. Thank you so much. We will never buy from you again..
